A Big Move

When I started this challenge of blogging
back in October, I had no idea that I was about to embark on (another) life changing journey!

I was living in Perth, Western Australia,
with my boyfriend and our two young boys.
I had suffered a personal loss,
with the unexpected passing of my Dad in June,
but life was chugging along just fine.

As a family with a child of special needs,
we had moved to Perth from the Wheatbelt in 2008,
and were comfortable knowing that we needed to be in the city, close to the children's hospital, specialists and other resources.

Never did I imagine that a trip home to the farm
on Father's Day, to spend an emotional milestone
with my siblings, would lead to us packing up and moving home to Cunderdin, WA by mid-November.

As previously written in my very first blog post,
nearly eight months ago,
 "I am obsessively organised" !
A last minute, unorganised pack & move,
two hours away, was very out of character for me... but things kept falling into place so easily,
and I did succumb to... it was meant to be!

So... since my last post in October...
we have had a MasterChef Party, a 30th birthday,
two weeks in Bali, moved to the country, a Christmas, a three week hospital admission, a New Year,
another 30th birthday, starting a new school,
a week in Singapore, another hospital admission,
Easter and camping,
and all the boring bits in between!

And I am back to share it all... one day at a time!
